A very start up role for this French Luxury cosmetics brand in PRC ‘s market operation, I am fully responsible for the finance, accounting, taxation，Logistics , IT and compliance functions of the PRC operations. The position plays an important role in the management team and report directly to the General Manager and group financial controller. Sisley China has more than 70 retail counters in exclusive shopping areas throughout of China.
cope of ResponsibilitiesBusiness Planning & Budget? Prepare financial business plans as required in accordance with management’s assumptions.
? Budgetary Process and Preparation? Manage and co-ordinate the overall budget process as dictated by brand regional office and management’s guidelines and time table
? Preparation of budgets in accordance with the management’s business assumptionsFinancial Management Reporting & analysis
? Responsible for managing the finance, accounting and taxation functions of the PRC operations to ensure daily operations and work flows are consistent with the corporate and international standards, local and statutory requirements.
? Direct and supervise the local accounting team and establish the processes, policies and the accounting system.? Ensure proper financial and accounting records and timely reporting to the head office. Prepare monthly accounts and annual statutory accounts in accordance with China GAAP and international accounting standards.
? Experience with financial software Kingdee? Build fair and objective quarterly forecast, monthly financial analysis as proactive business partner to management
? Ensure compliance of all local statutory requirements with proper filings and documentation such as business licenses, tax matters.
? Plan, monitor and control cash flow ensuring it is maximized, including regular review of debtors and planning of payments.
? Liaise with government, legal agency , authorities, banks, auditors and head offices.Compliance and Internal Control? Develop and implement the policies and procedures in PRC. Safeguard all assets and protect the interests of the company in particular cash flow control.
? Ensure proper internal controls AR , Inventory , fixed asset , cash flow etc are in place to provide assurance as for the (a) reliability of financial and management reporting (b) effectiveness and efficiency of operations and (c) compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
? Ensure the working capital running, inventory management, credit control, AR collection, etc.Logistics and IT? Oversee daily logistics operation efficiently to support business running? Monitor warehousing & Logistics Partner performance at Regular KPI appraisal
? Cooperate with Importation agency to have timely importation goods clearance? Ensure IT Facility safety , POS system installation at counters ,HR System, accounting system , CRM system application to support business

Role & Responsibilities? F&A Operation- Start-up and very hands-on Role to Lead Finance Team in daily Finance & Accounting Operation Build Up and deliver support to every business unitsLacoste POLO Shirts
- Ensure smooth Finance Operation through GL, Treasury, AR, AP, Inventory, fix asset management to Safeguard Company’s asset
? Reporting- Fulfill monthly financial statements to meet requirements from both statutory local authority and Group management reporting in compliance with both group and Local GAAP, tax policies
? Financial Analysis, Planning and support- Evaluation business plan under financial perspectives on development projects or ad hoc analysis etc.
- Provide analysis information on monthly expense, gross margin, net contribution, sales performance etc.- Develops financial plans by contributing financial information, analysis, and recommendations to operational strategic thinking and direction; studying capacity models; establishing financial objectives; preparing and updating rolling forecasts; preparing annual and three-year operating and capital budgets.
? Financial management- Authorize manual checks, company payments on daily basis both AP and expense- Review expenditure with appropriate application approval
- Monitor and develop Credit control, AR collection, and other policies, procedures are in place- Manage foreign exchange transactions and make sure they are in line with foreign exchange control policies and regulations
- Experience with financial Software Exact? Communication Skills- Maintain good cooperation with local banks, Tax authority, SAFE, Custom, Import and Export agencies
- Inter-company group confirmation and information collaboration- Coordinate and liaison with auditors for annual statutory audit nd group reportingLacoste Polo Shirts
- Look after HR affairs like Payroll, Staff employment, FESCO Polices, Staff statutory benefit and insurance etc,- Supervise Logistic functions (Logistic & Procurement Manager is under my supervision)
- Handle annual inspection conducted by government and tax annual settlement by local tax authority as well as business, tax license renewal and update
